Cork Production
THE WORLD OF CORK
The cork production process follows an integrated and sustainable system in which everything is used.
Integrated and sustainable system
Thinning and pruning provide very valuable firewood. From the first stripping, granules are obtained for insulation. With what’s left, agglomerates are made, and the remaining waste from the entire production process is used as fuel for boilers and ovens.
How it arrives?
Cork comes to us in the form of granules. Subsequently, it is pressed, creating an agglomerate with glue, which is then introduced into our molds to obtain different types of soles. As a result, once dry, we have a solid and resistant material to reinforce our footwear with.
